Favorite Nail Polish of the Week: 'Lapis of Luxury' by Essie with swatches!!!

'Lapis of Luxury' was part of an Essie Collection from years ago. This color is a seriously pretty periwinkle blue. It is so perfect for this time of year and blue is really trendy this summer. For a light, creamy polish the formula is amazing and only requires two coats.

Just to add some extra excitement, I have used a nail art pen by Sally Hansen in 'Blue' on the ring finger. I honestly found it difficult to work with, despite picking a very simple design. I found it bled into the nail polish a bit, and looked a little messy, maybe I didn't wait long enough for the Essie polish to dry before using the pen?

All Essie nail polishes are manufactured 3-free (without DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde).
